    Know More about Different Courses of Meal Served By Indian Catering Services at Weddings

    Indian weddings are known all over the world for their lavish décor and celebrations. The other reason for popularity of hindu wedding venue is the splendid food that is served at the venue. Generally the wedding day food is arranged by the bride’s parents. The groom’s family is given utmost importance in the alliance and so the food that is served at wedding would be according to taste of groom’s family.


    Traditionally, the food for the wedding is cooked by specialist cooks who follow different traditions. With the change of time, people are going for Indian catering services, so that the professionals would take care of the entire food arrangements at the venue. The menu for the occasion should be decided and discussed with caterers in advance keeping budget in mind.

    The wedding feast generally starts with appetizers, which are served before the main meal. The appetizer can be a traditional starter that is specific to the region the couple belongs to. Different variety of drinks like cool drinks, mock-tails, wine, whiskies etc are also served at few places.

    The main course generally contains four to five types of vegetable dishes served with traditional Indian bread and rice. Salads and other condiments are also served as compliments in the main course. This part of the meal is considered to be the most heaviest and grandest of the whole meal.

    After the main course, guests are served with desserts which are sweet dishes to ease the spicy and tingling taste of the previous course. Seasonal sweets and ice-creams are also making their way into this course. The Indian meal comes to end with the serving of a pan (a betel leaf is stuffed with different accomplishments).

    Generally the meal would be a reflection of the culture of both the families. Both vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food could be served at the wedding venues which are dependent on the families and guests.
